Coenonympha tulle ssp. polydama
Only found in Northern England & the West Midlands.
The Larvae feeds on similar foodplant to the Scottish subspecies.
Adults of both sexes have black ringlets on the hindwings, which Scottish examples lack.
Flight period is from Mid June-Mid July.
