Also breeds in Europe.

Winters south to North Africa.

Introduced to North America.

Adults are mainly white with orange bills.

Males have a larger bill nob than Females.

Juveniles are greyer birds than the Adults, although Polish birds are whiteish.

In flight, their wings make a distint rhythmic sound.
