Coenonympha tullia ssp. scotica
Only confined to the Scottish Highlands.
The Larvae feeds on Hare's-tail Cottongrass, but also White Beak-sedge.
Adults of both sexes, lack the black ringlets seen on the English & Welsh examples.
Flight period is July.
