Scarce & local Summer Visitor from April-October with 19,000 breeding pairs in Britain & Ireland.
Winters in Africa.
Males have yellow-green head with a brighter yellow supercilium.
Females markedly paler below than Males.
Juveniles are duller than the Adults.
Their calls given in flight are slighty higher pitched than Pied & Grey Wagtails.
